For 15 years, Ultra Marine Products has proudly supplied the marine and yachting public and trade with innovative accessories and essentials to make life on the water comfortable, safe and stylish – both online and in store, and now, at its brand-new showroom at The Boat Works, Coomera.

Entering a new phase in its evolution, Ultra Marine Products (UMP) officially opened its new HQ last week, with a host of new products, expertise and friendly service available to boat builders and boaties direct.

The new premises comprise a purpose-built 80sqm showroom beneath their current offices at The Boat Works with a brilliant glass frontage for optimal light and looks!

On display is the diverse range of Sovereign marine and RV barbeques, Ultra anchors and accessories, Ultra inflatable fenders, teak and aluminium furniture, a mini washing machine that's ideal for boats of all sizes, Navigator Helm Seats, tableware, plates, linen and stemware. Large flatscreen TVs show informative product presentations.

Fabien Vignes, Managing Director of UMP says he is looking forward to this new phase and is eager to welcome clients and visitors to the new store.

"We are perfectly positioned (opposite the hard stand) to attract clientele and display our products," he said. "With a large store frontage and immediate accessibility to boat owners and visitors driving by, we can offer the best quality products in the best location."

Fabien started his career in the marine industry in Europe, working for a custom-made linen company that specialised in yachts, before moving to marina management. "I then made the big move to Australia to work on Hamilton Island for Sunsail Australia, working my way up to Dock Manager."

In 2012, UMP established its showroom at The Boat Works. "As the range of products grew so did the need for more space, greater accessibility and prominence as a retail outlet," said Fabien, who sources the world's premium yachting and lifestyle products at international trade fairs such as METS Amsterdam.

"Our product range is extensive and we listen to our customers and try to source what they need. We are continually looking for new innovative ideas and quality products."

Longevity and a reputation for prompt, expert and friendly services in a competitive industry have bolstered the business, along with a presence at boat shows including Sanctuary Cove, Sydney, Perth, Auckland, Kaohsiung Taiwan and Hobart.

At the 2018 Sydney International Boat Show, 2 to 6 August, UMP will present an all-new collection of tableware and teak furniture.

"We pride ourselves on excellent customer service whether it be via our internet sales, trade or retail customers. Above all, we listen to what the customer needs and go to great lengths to fulfil their requirements."

The new showroom at The Boat Works is open and already impressing visitors.

"The Boat Works is the perfect stopover for boats traveling the East Coast," said Fabien. "Boat owners are so pleased with the service, facilities and location they keep coming back and recommend The Boat Works to their boating friends, bringing more potential customers."
