The 2018 Pacific Cup will begin on July 9th and Charles Devanneaux and Fred Courouble of NAOS Yachts have just finished preparing their new, state of the art, boat! The Girafon a Figaro Beneteau, which is a semi foiler.

They just got this boat last month! Although there was no time for the Carbon mast and Colligo Marine Rigging, they have Colligo Dux running backstays with Cheeky Tangs, Stacker Block purchase systems, and snatch blocks for their sheet leads. The Carbon mast and Colligo Marine Rigging will be updated after the race.

The 2018 Pacific Cup runs every even year. The race begins in San Francisco and finishes in Hawaii. Be sure to follow the race on the Pacific Cup's Race Tracker.

Sailing for a cause:

In 2016, Charles Devanneaux and Fred Courouble sailed the Beneteau First 30E. They also began a campaign called Sailing for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). This year they are continuing their campaign to raise awareness and money for ALS. This campaign means a great deal to them because ALS took the life of one of their close friends.
