Australia's world-renowned motor yacht builder, Riviera, will proudly Premiere its blue water 43 Open Flybridge motor yacht in conjunction with newly appointed Riviera and Belize dealer Unimat Precious at the Japan International Boat Show in Yokohama over four days from March 8.

Unimat Precious representative Mitsuru Ishii said he and his team are honoured to display this supremely seaworthy motor yacht to the Japanese boating community at the Yokohama Bayside Marina. Mr Ishii has more than 10 years of experience with Riviera in Japan.

"The Riviera 43 Open Flybridge is ideally suited for Japan's motor yachting enthusiasts," said Mr Ishii. "This model epitomises the combined commitment of Riviera and Unimat Precious to fulfilling the boating dreams of Japan's discerning motor yacht aficionados.

"The alfresco layout of this motor yacht, merging the welcoming and superbly equipped cockpit space with a luxurious and comfortable interior, is the hallmark of a Riviera motor yacht.

"The accomplished designers, engineers and master craftsmen at Riviera's yard in Australia are continually refining the designs and easy-to-use technology and equipment aboard these motor yachts that make the joy of Riviera ownership a sheer pleasure," he said.

Riviera 43 Open Flybridge - Premiering at the Japan International Boat Show

The Riviera 43 Open Flybridge incorporates great function and style within a supremely seaworthy hull.

A versatile motor yacht, she offers an extremely fishable cockpit, relaxing lifestyle design and spritely yet economical performance through Volvo Penta IPS propulsion.

Riviera International Sales Director Chris McCafferty said: "Her alfresco environment includes a wide glass awning window and sliding glass door that, together, open to create a seamless transition between the expansive cockpit and contemporary interior.

"The main saloon is both elegant and practical, with an ergonomic aft galley that is fully equipped with appliances and places the chef at the heart of social activities on board. The starboard U-shaped leather lounge surrounds a generous hi-lo-dining table that folds and lowers to become a coffee table or extra bed."

On the accommodation deck the master stateroom forward features a queen-sized island bed and ensuite bathroom. The full-beam midships guest stateroom features three adult-sized beds, two of which can slide together to create a double. This stateroom has private access to the second bathroom as an ensuite or can be separated to allow this bathroom to serve as the day head.

The flybridge, accessed from the cockpit via Riviera's unique stair-ladder, offers 360-degree vision with minimal interruption thanks to the structural hardtop canopy.

Popular power in this versatile motor yacht is via twin Volvo Penta IPS2-600 pod drives with D6 turbo diesel engines that generate up to 435hp each. The system includes joystick steering for low-speed manoeuvring and digital switching technology for ease of operation.

With Riviera, all Volvo Penta systems and drives are covered by an industry-leading limited five-year warranty. This extended warranty complements the Riviera and Belize limited five-year structural warranty and provides even greater peace of mind.

Chris McCafferty said: "In conjunction with the enthusiastic team at Unimat Precious, we are honoured to Premiere the superb blue-water Riviera 43 Open Flybridge to Japan's motor yachting community."

Mr Ishii said Riviera and Unimat Precious welcome all motor yacht aficionados to inspect the 43 Open Flybridge at the Yokohama Bayside Marina from Thursday, March 8 to Sunday, March 11.
