Start your fundraising effort now and be in the race to win the Fundraisers trophy OR the One Lap Fundraiser Dash for those who are prepared to bribe and corrupt the handicapper out of existence.

The majority of funds raised go to the Hunter Branch of Cancer Council NSW and specifically their Home Help Program which supports recovering and terminal cancer patients with domestic duties that they are unable to fulfil because of their condition. A small percentage of the funds raised go to Lake Macquarie Marine Rescue who provide on water support during the regatta.

The regatta is open to Off the Beach boats can choose to do either the Short One Lap Dash or – if they have a yardstick of 97.5 or lower or are a 505 Class and they have their own Chase Boat, the Long One Lap Dash. All other boats can do either the Short One Lap Dash or Long One Lap Dash and / or the 12 Hour Race and / or the 24 Hour Race.

So, it's up to you – are you up to doing the Classic Events – the Short or Long One Lap Dash, are you challenged by the 12 Hour Race or do you have the endurance and stamina to do the 24 Hour Race.

You can book tickets now ($55.00 pp) by sending an email to with the number of tickets required and your contact number – you will be called back for credit card details - Visa and Mastercard only and payment must be made at the time of booking.

Our dinner guests will be:

If you have ever wondered what the design considerations are for the foils and dagger boards used on the Americas Cup catamarans then Brett is your man - he has a wealth of knowledge in this highly specialised field and is just the right person to enlighten you on what the future holds for foiling on mono hulled boats.

Dr Craig Gedye is a researcher with the Calvary Mater and the University of Newcastle. He is particularly interested in and will enlighten us on the work he is doing with kidney, prostate and brain cancer, and more specifically, how these cancers change their form and function to evade treatments.
