Weather on point for Lancelin Ocean Classic

Australia's most famous windsurfing and kitesurfing event is back and hitting the coast this weekend! The picturesque coastal destination, Lancelin will come alive attracting contestants from all around the globe!

From Pro-riders to amateurs the event is set to pack the beaches with windsurfers, kitesurfers, runners and jetskis to make one of the biggest Lancelin Ocean Classic's yet!

Weather conditions are in Lancelin's favour this weekend, with events looking like they will remain on the Friday and Saturday, with no need of reserve days!

With the weather looking on point pro-riders expected to attend include Jaeger Stone (Australian Windsurfing Super Star), Phillip Koster (Current World Wave Champion), Ben Proffitt (PWA Competitor), Dieter Van der Eyyken (past Freestyle World Champion), Steve Allen (multiple Windsurfing World Champion), Adam Lewis (UK Pro Windsurfer), Karin Jaggi (Female Pro Rider and Record Holder) and many more!

The newest edition to Lancelin Ocean Classic, The Beach Run is stirring up interest from Perth runners and looking to be a praised addition to the weekend with runners road-tripping for the day to run along Lancelin's scenic coastline in either 6KM, 12KM or RELAY with a partner.

The Lancelin Event Village will be open on event days for spectators, competitors and locals to come and get involved in the spectacular weekend that is Lancelin Ocean Classic. The bar will be open with food and drinks available and entertainment will be provided throughout the weekend with the Sailors Welcome Party on Friday night and Awards Presentation Party on Saturday, both located at Lancelin Beach amongst the action.

Online registrations for all events will be closing today (10/05/2018) at 5PM All events EXCEPT Kitesurfing Waves will have on the day registrations available.
