The Farr designed IRC80 Beau Geste had her mast stepped in Auckland this morning.

She was launched yesterday at the Gulf Harbour marina, North of Auckland and motored down to Auckland for her mast to be stepped.

www.southernspars.com!Southern_Spars have provided the rig which stands 35.84metres above the deck.

The spar is deck stepped and features a five spreader cathedral configuration, with EC6 rigging using clamp tongs.

Beau Geste was built by www.cooksonboats.co.nz!Cookson_Boats and her sails are by www.northsails.co.nz!North_Sails NZ. She is for Honk Kong based business man, Karl Kwok, and is the latest in a lineage of offshore racers of the same name.
