The fourth annual Atlantic Cup presented by 11th Hour Racing is readying for its start Saturday, May 10th at 12pm Eastern Time just off the Charleston Maritime Center in Charleston, South Carolina.

#54 Dragon and #116 JeffreyMacFarlane.com are at City Marina with #106 Gryphon Solo 2 and #39 Pleiad expected to arrive overnight this evening. #25 Flatline's expected arrival is sometime Friday due to last minute fixes and repairs delaying their Newport departure.

#54 Dragon underwent a major refit throughout the winter and her delivery down to Charleston was the first opportunity co-skipper Rob Windsor had to get to know the boat. Rob Windsor talked about the improvements and his assessment of the fleet:

Former #1 World Ranked Mini Sailor, Jeff MacFarlane, also talked about his expectations for his first Class 40 race in two years and why offshore sailing is perfection:

In addition, Atlantis Weathergear announced a $500 cash prize to the fastest 24-hour speed run during the two offshore legs. RealSail.net will offer a virtual Atlantic Cup game that allows arm-chair sailors to test their skill against the Atlantic Cup fleet.

Deploy the total might of the North Technology Group is not simply about rags, strings, and sticks When you able to deploy the total might of the North Technology Group, it is not simply rags, strings, and sticks that are the outcome. Equally, it is not merely the sum of the parts. It is more. Way more… Yes. It is most certainly the best of the best.
