Nearly 50 classic yachts have gathered in Nelson's Dockyard for the 30th edition of the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, on now until April 25th. Racing begins tomorrow, Friday, April 21st, and spectators can watch the starts each day at 10 am from Shirley Heights, Fort Charlotte, and Fort Berkeley. Throughout the regatta, a special 'Times Past' photography exhibition will be on display at the Copper and Lumber Store Hotel.

The highlight of the regatta, the Parade of Classics, on Sunday, April 23rd can best be seen while dining waterfront at Incanto Restaurant, or from Antigua Slipway, Nelson's Dockyard, or Fort Berkeley. This year the event will feature another type of classic display, with a Classic Vehicle Rendezvous in Nelson's Dockyard as well.

Hungry crews looking for quick meals while racing can turn to Cambusa Italian Restaurant for catering of high-energy, tasty eats on the go. With the sailing action comes a full party night line up from Abracadabra, with an Eden Costume Party on Friday night, a Tiki Costume Party on Saturday night, and DJ nights next week for mid-week sessions.
