Scheidt and Prada lead Star South American Champs

Eight-time Laser World Champion and double Olympic gold medallist Robert Scheidt and crew Bruno Prada of Brazil got off to an impressive start at the Star South American Championship in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, taking two second place finishes to top the leaderboard at the end of day one.

The opening race was won by John Albert King and Luiz Carlos Simbao (BRA), and the second race by 1989 Star World Champion Alan Adler and crew Ronaldo Seifert (BRA).
