Rolex Big Boat Series - Day 2 photos from Chuck Lantz

by Chuck Lantz on 29 Sep 2013
J-Boats heading towards the finish in race four on day two - Rolex Big Boat Series Chuck Lantz http://www.ChuckLantz.com
Some San Francisco sailors swear that the water temperature on the bay was still a few degrees warmer than normal after being sliced and diced for months by the America's Cup boats, but everything else was back to normal on day two of the 49th annual Rolex Big Boat Series, hosted by the St. Francis Yacht Club. With 107 boats registered, and over 600 sailors competing in seven classes, the Rolex BBS is the premiere annual yacht racing event on the SF bay.

Action sports photographer Chuck Lantz, one of Sail-World's America's Cup photo team members, caught the action on the second day of this four-day event. First of two photo galleries from Chuck.
