At the 2013 Delta Lloyd North Sea Regatta, Mischa Heemskerk and Bastiaan Tentij, the two dutch sailors that will represent Hydros and Switzerland at the Class C World Championship, won the famous event in Formula 18.

39 teams sailed the seven races off the coast of Scheveningen: 'All the best dutch sailors took part to this competition, one of Netherland’s biggest regatta', explains Bastiaan Tentij. 'We did some tactical mistakes the first day, but we are very competitive again and ended up with excellent results. We are very happy with this win!'

Sailing Formula 18 regattas is part of the team’s preparation towards their main objective of the season, the Class C World Championship in Falmouth, UK. 'It is very important for us to keep racing, it is the best way to be prepared for the big competition in September', concludes the dutch sailor.

Back to La Grande Motte where the team is established. Bastiaan and Mischa will work on the two Class C along with the other team members, Jérémie Lagarrigue and Billy Besson.
