One minute the wind was blowing dogs off chains, the next the chains were hanging heavily on listless canines. It was a typical Derwent River sou'westerly.
Amongst those finishing today, and captured in these images by Crosbie Lorimer, were Zefiro, Pretty Fly III, Veloce, Celestial, Brindabella, Primitive Cool and Kerumba.
The dismasted Wedgetail made for a sad sight as she motored up the river.
