Ocean Alexander returns to Australia at the Sydney Boat Show

After an absence of 10 or so years from the Australian market, Ocean Alexander has returned, with dealer Hank Compton and its entry level 'baby' of the range, the impressive 72ft model, made in Shanghai and customised for the Australian market.

Visiting Australia for the Sydney International Boat Show, CEO Johnny Chueh is glad to be back. 'While the US is our main market, and has become increasingly so since our company began in 1978, Australia's economy is healthy and we think there is real potential for growth here.'


So far, visitors to this year's show have embraced the return of Ocean Alexander, and Chueh is confident Hank and his team will find an owner for the 72, and perhaps achieve orders for a few more.

Next for Australian waters is the 'bread and butter boat' for the marque - the 90, which will be making its debut Down Under at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in 2014.


The company is head quartered in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and has factories in Shanghai and the US.
