America's Cup- Emirates Team NZ and Luna Rossa get third day of racing

Emirates Team NZ's AC72 was out on the water for her 26th day of sailing of the 30 allowed before February 1, 2013 under the Protocol governing the 34th America's Cup.

Although the weather looks quite mild in these images Nowcasting observations from www.predictwind.com!PredictWind taken at Tiritiri Island the closest recording point to the area in which the AC72's were sailing, recorded winds averaging 25kts at noon and peaking at 30kts. The winds eased by 5kts later in the day both in average and gusts.

Emirates Team NZ was on the water and sailing for about seven hours in these conditions and was joined later in the day by Luna Rossa from Italy. The New Zealand team was sailing 10nm or further offshore during the training session, and both boats were in an area 5-10nm offshore during the training.
