Sydney Boat Show - US Yachts invites keen sailors to a preview

If wading through crowds isn’t your thing or if you want to spend more time looking at the boats on your list, US Yachts may have the solution. They are inviting prospective buyers to view the new Elan 320, Elan 394 and Hunter 37, along with other boats in their range, at Darling Harbour on Saturday July 26.

US Yachts CEO Matt Hayes explains: 'Boat Shows are excellent because there are a lot of boats all in one place. But genuine buyers sometimes find they are swamped by the ‘onlookers’. This year we thought we’d give our customers and potential customers a choice. They can come and see us at the show or come down to our base at Darling Harbour beforehand and spend some quality time on the boats.'

As well as the Elan Performance 320 and the Hunter 37, which will make their Australian debut at the boat show, people can view the Elan Impression 394 which debuted at Sanctuary Cove in May. Other models at the US Yachts base include the Hunter 33, Hunter 40, Hunter 45DS and Salona 38.

US Yachts is also selling shares in a Hunter 37 syndicate. The syndicate comprises 10 owners, reducing the initial purchase cost, and allows the owners a minimum of 33 days sailing a year. All maintenance is provided by US Yachts. Matt Hayes said that anyone thinking of joining the syndicate would be welcome at the preview day to have a close look at the boat.

US Yachts is making a special offer at the boat show, offering a free certified sail training course for two people valued at $3,680 to anyone who buys a yacht or joins the syndicate. That same offer is available to people attending the preview day.

Viewing hours on Saturday July 26 are 10am to 4pm and Matt asks that people RSVP on (02) 9281 4422 or go to US Yachts and use the 'contact us' form.
