Beautiful sunny weather for the second day of the RHKYC Autumn Regatta in Victoria Harbour saw 75 boats come out, with 11 Impalas setting off in the first start at 1100 hrs. With 6kts of easterly breeze, Race Officer Barry Truhol set the start line off Hung Hom, with most divisions racing on course 302 - a mark off Shau Kei Wan and back to finish off at Hung Hom. The Big Boats were given a slightly longer course - to Tai Koo Shing, Eastern Harbour Mark 1, returning to Tai Koo Shing and finishing at Hung Hom.

With wind conditions improving to around 8kts, the RO wasted no time in starting a second race at 1220 hrs. All boats were set a slightly longer course for race 2 with the Dragons, Etchells, Flying 15s Impalas, J/80s, Sportsboats and Big Boats starting at Hung Hom and racing to Shau Kei Wan before hoisting their kites and heading down to Eastern Mark 2, repeat, and finish at Gate buoy.

With everything wrapped up early, competitors sailed back to the Club and the Main Bar, and then it was on to a prizegiving on the Main Lawn with Commodore Robert Stoneley presenting the prizes.
