More photos from the first day the America's Cup challenger series - the Louis Vuitton Cup.

With Luna Rossa refusing to participate in this first race to protest what they see as an unfair situation regarding the new rules proposed after the Artemis tragedy, the Emirates New Zealand AC72 ran the course alone. Those onshore didn't seem to mind, and enjoyed the solo show put on by the Kiwi monster boat.
