Sail-World's NZ Editor, Richard Gladwell talks with Glenn Ashby Peter Burling, Blair Tuke and Ray Davies who are part of the eight strong team all sponsored by Kaenon sunglasses at the 2014 A-Class Catamaran World Championships.

Glenn Ashby (AUS) took second place in the final race, after leading for all but the final leg, to win his eigth World Championship in the class.

Tuke, Burling and Davies, along with Glenn Ashby gave Emirates Team NZ four of the top five places in the regatta - and outstanding achievement given that with the exception of Ashby, all had very limited experience in the A-Class. Burling, Tuke and Davies had each sailed just one previous world championship in Australia, and just a month of build up to the 2014 regatta.
