The French Skiff Open 2012, Trophee Breizhskiff, was a great event, even if there was no wind on the water which is simply because the Breizhskiff Team did a perfect job around the sailing venue. Food, drinks, accommodation and ambiance were superb!
The French Skiff Open 2012 was of course the same event but with wind and many more boats!
Not only one Swiss boat but eight Swiss boats entered, 17 MPS entered in total. That made this year’s edition nearly perfect (if we could have raced on our own racetrack, it would have been perfect)!
Three young sailors, Marek, Alex and Fabio did a great job at one of their first Musto regattas. Marek Oswald did very well in the first four races, whilst Alex Greil capsized a second near the finishing line in the last race.
Fabio Mueller’s motivation coming for the 49er and sailing the Musto was a joy to watch as well. Also a joy to watch was the new Dutch guys, the Kuipers brothers. Jelmer who won a race and Roelof who finished seventh the last race.
Congratulations to Roger Oswald for his victory and the lead in the Eurocup.
