Superior seeks national dealers for new SUP board

Expressions of interest are invited from watersports/outdoors retailers and wholesalers to stock a new beginner to intermediate stand-up paddle (SUP) board developed by Gold Coast surfing identity Dave Verrall (aka Feral Dave).

Manufactured by marine leisure product specialist Superior Watersports, the SUP board utilises two-shot rotational moulding technology to create a super-durable product.

Made from a robust and durable polyethylene exterior, an internal foam wall dampens what would otherwise be a hollow sound in the board, at the same time increasing board strength.

Rotomoulded polyethylene construction means the board is maintenance-free. It has high-impact strength – the board won’t crack if it hits rocks or other hard objects – it is UV resistant and will not need to be repaired if accidentally dragged or dropped.

Superior’s SUP board has an integrated handle in the centre (for balance when being carried), while a tie-down located at the front of the board allows loose items such as clothes, shoes and other large personal objects to be secured during use.

Available in a range of colours, the SUP board has an adhered rubberised grip and moulded insert for a leg tie. The fin and fin box are made from glass-filled nylon with a stainless steel fixing location for the fin.

The boards are also available with an optional 150mm-diameter recessed waterproof hatch, which allows for storage of small personal items.

Superior Watersports has recently appointed a new wholesaler in WA and is on the lookout for more outlets.
