3AW Melbourne Boat Show - this weekend

by Press Release on 11 Apr 2003 All the fun of 3AW Melbourne Boat Week continues this weekend with the Club Marine Sail Boat Show at Sandringham Yacht Club (10am to 6pm Saturday
12th - Sunday 13th April). This show is a major industry event totally dedicated to all those people who have a love of the sea and wind in their sails.

Come and see Melbourne's leading display of sail boats, chandlery, clothing and books. It provides for everyone from the racing enthusiast to those who just like 'mucking' around in boats or who would like to develop their interest in boating. The show opens at 10am ~ 6pm each day & features a full range of sailing boats, in water Sail Boat display, kitesurfing exhibitions, dinghies & catamarans on the beach, sailing holidays / boatshow alley, sailing academy's, access dinghies, model yachts and search & rescue demonstrations.

The Club Marine Sail Boat Show at SYC provides an opportunity for the many members of the community who would like to consider taking up sailing
either as a sport for recreation. It will be a fun weekend for everyone with entertainment, BBQ, meals & refreshments. All visitors have the
chance to win a 5 night bareboat Sunsail Whitsunday Holiday for up to 6 people.
