This week the Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX) held two of the five business seminars specifically tailored to marine industry business needs scheduled around Australia within the month of February.
The Gold Coast and Brisbane Seminars were an immense success driving considerable enthusiasm amongst attendees to reinvigorate their business strategies.
Facilitated by Tony Karabatsas, Madison Cross Australia, the seminars are case study format, attendees work in groups to determine business strategies to recommend to three business cases to return the businesses to health. The case studies generated considerable discussion amongst the groups who shared their personal experiences in business, re-invigorating many attendees to re-look at their business strategies more regularly in the current market.
Given the pressures on manufacturing in Australia combined with the current dollar many businesses are facing major cost cutting. To address this AIMEX has organized a number of specialists to attend the seminars to discuss some of these opportunities, threats and considerations for businesses. Feedback from attendees was that this information was highly valuable.
This series of seminars have been specifically tailored to marine industry business needs. Following each seminar AIMEX has organized networking drinks to ensure attendees have the opportunity to develop greater awareness of their business, business opportunities and network with industry colleagues.
