The Boating Industry Association of NSW has taken steps to ensure its members are fully aware of the new Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that has been adopted to replace the former Trade Practices Act (1974).
This new law applies in the identical manner to all Australian consumers and businesses.
Do not be mistaken – the ACL will have an impact on business operations, create new areas of risk exposure and change areas of compliance.
All business operators will need to ensure compliance with the new ACL and the new Regulation 90 which came into force in January.
Do not be left in the dark, register now for a free information and Q and A session to bring your business into line with the new ACL.
The BIA together with the Motor Traders Association (MTA) in conjunction with the Office of Fair Trading and/or the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission will stage these important sessions.
Register now with your association, contact Aaron or Corrina at the office, telephone (02) 9438-2077.
