Big success for JSails and Winner at Sir Peter Blake Regatta + Video

by Andrew Brown on 7 Dec 2011
JSails dominated the Sir Peter Blake Regatta taking eight out of the top 10 places overall Richard Gladwell www.photosport.co.nz

Forceracing's Andrew Brown reports on the success of JSails and Winner Optimists at the recent Sir Peter Blake Regatta, held at Torbay Sailing Club. As well Andrew provided coaching support for a number of sailors. He writes from the ISAF Sailing Worlds in Fremantle:

This last weekend was the Sir Peter Blake regatta.

www.forceracing.co.nz!Forceracing had lots of involvement from providing the SailPro Cameras to Torbay for the cool video footage to having eight JSails in the top 10 of the Optimist Open fleet, and to having five Winner Optimists also in the top 10.

We also had a sailor who had the best regatta of his sailing career so far after having signed on with Forceracing to look after his coaching needs. Also Team Wakatere Japan did very well as did Hamish Clark from Queen Charlotte Yacht Club who chartered a Winner and was engaged in the coaching provided by Forceracing.

I was lucky enough to be at Torbay on the first day of the regatta to witness the great job Torbay is doing with the regatta and to help service the J Sailors and Winner Boat owners.

It was great to see the event really move forward and the bacon battys for breakie off the BBQ weren't bad either!!!

Cheers
