Shipmate Marine Directory now available as a free app. SW
Shipmate Marine Directory, the Victorian boaters essential guide has announced the release of their all new, iphone App, and it’s free!
Now boaters have access to all of the information they need, in whichever format they prefer, as a pocket guide with the ever popular, Shipmate Marine Directory, on the web at www.shipmate.com.au, or from the convenience of their iphone. Shipmate lists marine trades and services by category, along with information and contact details for yacht clubs, marinas, marine organisations and much more.
The iphone app provides boaters with a simple and convenient way to find the information they need and then be connected to a phone number or a website with a single touch of their iphone screen. And, it’s not only trades and services that are available on the App. There’s also single touch access to marine weather, synoptic charts, tides, wavebuoys and more. There’s even a Shipmate News section allowing boaters to keep up to date with the latest marine news around Australia.
Since 2005, Shipmate has been primarily focused on Victoria but, to coincide with the release of the App, Shipmate is expanding to include details of marine trades and services Australia wide. Both the App and the website at www.shipmate.com.au now have the facility to be able to filter listings within each category by individual state and new interstate listings are being added progressively.
All of the listings in shipmate are provided free to any business or organisation that provides a product or service direct to boaters. There is no prerequisite to be a part of any organisation or association and this ensures a complete and comprehensive guide. If you fit that category, contact Shipmate at info@shipmate.com.au or phone 03 9690 5435 to arrange for your free listing.
The iphone app is available now and it’s free from the iphone app store. No iphone? No worries, just visit www.shipmate.com.au
