Chaparral SSi 216 Run SW
After recent exhaustive testing against a class field of quality opposition, the Chaparral 216SSi Bowrider has been awarded the title of Australia’s Greatest Bowrider.

As part of Trailer Boat magazines annual 'Australia’s Greatest Boats' series for 2011; judges tested a number of boats and awarded points for ten different criteria including innovation, quality of finish, handling and ride, ergonomics and value for money.

The Chaparral 216SSi scooped the pool, scoring solid nines out of ten across the board including one perfect ten for design layout and appearance.

'One judge was nearly forced into buying a 216 by his family, they were so impressed'. Says Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia. 'We love the whole bowrider range, but now the 216SSi will always be a favourite as our first local award winner'.

Chaparral have a rich history of winning awards around the world, with 14 boats of the year in the coveted U.S Powerboat and NMMA awards system, as well as 29 awards for product excellence. They have the highest possible customer satisfaction rating in the U.S CSI program with accolades across their entire model range.

'Chaparral are consistent in their approach to innovation, performance and quality, their R&D program is at its highest level in the company’s 46 year history and we are proud to represent such a great product in Australia and New Zealand', says O’Hare.

Australia’s Greatest Boats awards and test results can be found in the September edition of Trailer Boat Magazine or online at www.trailerboat.com.au/news-and-reviews/article/articleid/74173.aspx
