In the Whitsunday Passage a mother whale and her calf were having a very enjoyable afternoon today, breaching and rolling as Wild Oats XI led the fleet past their playground to the race finish in Dent Passage.

Crosbie Lorimer was nearby and captured these images of all three 'supermaxis' in action.
