Hyundai SeasAll appoints two new distributors

Sport Marine based in Cyprus and Business and Engineering Trends (BET) based in Pakistan, have been appointed as distributors for marine diesel engines manufactured by Hyundai SeasAll. Both companies are Yamaha Outboard distributors and were seeking a high quality marine diesel line after Yamaha exited the segment earlier this year.
Sport Marine has been established in the marine business in Cyprus since 1988. With headquarters in Limassol and branch operations in Nicosia and Paphos, cover the southern portion of the island.
According to Panayiotis Michaelides, Sport Marine’s General Manager, the SeasAll engines will fit well into the company’s current product range. 'We are excited about the new high speed common rail design which meets the latest European emissions regulations. They will allow us to serve the repower market with the latest generation of engines. We see this as a key element in our product portfolio,' Michaelides commented. In addition to Yamaha, Sport Marine distributes Jeanneau boats from France as well as Riviera Yachts from Australia.
In addition to distributing Yamaha outboards and water vehicles, BET is a pioneering company in the field of fiberglass boat manufacturing in Pakistan. They have the capability of building craft from 3m to 25m in length and have built boats for the Pakistani Defense Forces, port authorities, Government agencies, long line fishing trawlers as well as for the private sector. A separate division is also specialized in the manufacture of GRP pipes for water supply and sewerage.
Chief Operating Officer Hamza bin Tariq was quoted as saying, 'Hyundai SeasAll will fill the gap in our product range. We see both repowering possibilities for imported boats as well as first installation potential with both the boats which we build as well as with other, independent boatbuilders.'
According to a spokesperson for Hyundai SeasAll, both companies were chosen due to their ability to provide after-sales service, their solid backgrounds and their financial strength.
