Australian boating identities and experts will come together under one roof to celebrate the Gold Coast Marine Expo Carnivale on November 5 at one of Australia’s largest and most sophisticated boat building factories.

Gold Coast Marine Expo spokesman Stephen Milne said the evening would be a chance for boating enthusiasts to meet and mix with some of the industries most talented craftspeople.

'Boating is all about having fun, relaxing, socialising and meeting new friends, swapping ideas and knowledge and what better way to do it than on the Saturday night of the inaugural Gold Coast Marine Expo where boating enthusiasts can mix with industry leaders, identities and experts,' Mr Milne said.

'In recognition of the global nature of today’s boating industry, the theme for the evening is ‘colours of the world’ and we are encouraging guests to join in the fun by dressing in a colour or colours from their country of origin flag.

'We will also feature cuisine and wines from across the globe and the giant 8000sqm Quintrex factory pre-delivery facility will be decorated with myriad flags from all over the world.'

There will be prizes for the most colourful or patriotic dressed couple or couples as well as live entertainment from the well-known local band Kick.

'Dance the night away or enjoy a quiet drink in the Expo chill-out lounge, this will definitely be a night to remember,' said Mr Milne.

Tickets cost $50 and includes food plus a glass of champagne on arrival.

The Gold Coast Marine Expo Carnivale will be held on November 5 from 7pm until 11.30pm at the Telwater Factory, Waterway Drive, Coomera.
Tickets are limited and can be purchased from the Gold Coast Marine Expo office.

The Gold Coast Marine Expo will be held from November 4-6 across 36 hectares at the Gold Coast Marine Precinct.
