Are you returning from the Gold Coast?

How about competing in the Sydney Seaplanes NCYC Inner Spring Regatta on your way back to the ‘big smoke’ – 14 and 21 August 2011.

Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club invites yacht owners to compete in the inaugural three race Sydney Sea Planes Inner Spring Regatta.

Race 1, an offshore course starting and finishing in Newcastle harbour, will be held on Sunday 14 August. Races 2 and 3 comprising offshore windward leeward courses will be run on Sunday 21 August.

With IRC and PHS divisions, free regatta entry & free berthing in the NCYC marina prior to and during the regatta in addition to fantastic prizes including return seaplane flights to Sydney and accommodation at Star City Casino, the Inner Spring regatta will be a great way to get your 2011-12 sailing season underway.

The NCYC fleet is committed to providing great racing and social activities and welcomes Port Stephens, Lake Macquarie, Pittwater and Sydney sailors to visit Newcastle and race in this inaugural regatta.

A standalone social twilight race on Wednesday 17 August will also be run as part of the event but will not form part of the regatta point score.

For further details please go to www.ncyc.net.au or phone NCYC sailing office on 02 4940 8692.
