JW Marine is planning its biggest Sydney International Boat Show presence ever, with the full range of its power Beneteau line on water and several other show-stoppers, including the Pershing 64.

According to Adam Waters, Director at JW Marine, Sydney has proven itself a great selling show.

'We think the Sydney boat show is a great platform for our boats. People come from Melbourne, Brisbane and WA. It’s a biying show and getting better and better each year.'

The Pershing 64 is a high performance luxury motor yacht. 'It represents the new generation out of Italy and can reach 46 knots - which is quick,' says Waters, adding that it also has a drive system that is very efficient above 40 knots.

'It boasts stunning contemporary design, a beautiful three-cabin layout, full-beam master cabin with large size hull windows. The cockpit and saloon flow seamlessly. The back saloon doors disappear in to the engine room, giving a spacious feel throughout.'

The 64 is the most successful Pershing model. In four years, the company (Ferretti) has produced 50 boats.
'The model we will have in Sydney has a champagne pearl finish, which attracts a lot of admiring looks.'

Waters says the company is 'doing quite well' with both Ferretti and Pershing in the local market. Yachts are priced from $1m to $20m. 'We’ve found success at the big end of the market,' he says 'WA is doing particularly well.'

He says the success is the result of superlative Italian styling. 'Australians have an affinity for Italian style – in furniture, cars, fashion. Pershing offer something very different. They are the highest quality production boats money can buy, and they are well priced especially with strength of Australian dollar.'

At the Sydney International Boat Show, JW Marine will host the head Ferretti Asia Pacific, Guiseppe Zecchin.

Ferretti Yachts is a brand of Ferretti S.p.A., one of the leading companies in the design, construction and sale of luxury motoryachts, with a unique portfolio of nine of most exclusive brands in the nautical world: Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Itama, Bertram, Riva, Apreamare, Mochi Craft, CRN, Custom Line.
