Victorians will get their first look at the new Chaparral Wide Tech and Xtreme Wake boats at the Melbourne boat show this weekend.
Chaparral from the US have been manufacturing award winning sports boats for over 45 years and have a solid reputation worldwide for quality innovation and performance.
The new Wide Tech range feature a pickle fork style bow that enhances the passenger space in the bow area providing superior passenger comfort and cockpit layouts. The hulls are all new designs following from Chaparrals massive R & D investment over the last few years.
Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia says 'people will be surprised at how competitive such a high quality product can be' and recommends that buyers do 'thorough research' before committing to any brand of boat.
'We stack up well and the Melbourne boat show is a great forum for buyers to compare,' he says.
One of the feature boats on the Chaparral stand will be the 'crazy' 224 Xtreme wake boat that is designed to take on the traditional shaft drive wake boats and more. 'The Xtreme can do everything; it is a crossover machine built for salt water use, creates a massive wake with built in ballast tank, trim tabs, mad sound system, a toilet, wet bar, awesome tower set up and brilliant performance.'
Mr O’Hare is looking forward to showing off the Xtreme to the riders and their crew who are looking for something different and who want a tough boat that can be used in a salt water environment and actually provides the best wake.
Chaparral will be at the western end of the Melbourne Exhibition Centre on stand B90. The show is open from Thursday ninth to Monday 13th June, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 10am-9pm and Sunday & Monday 10am-7pm
