Tallon Systems, the founder and leader in accessory & mounting systems for the marine industry, is to officially launch an all new Elite Socket with USB and the iPad mount at the upcoming Sydney Boat Show - 28 July- 1 August.

The new USB Elite Socket is a continuation of their award-winning Tallon Socket, now with the addition USB and Power connections (12 volt) - providing every connection you need.

Encompassing a USB port, the new Elite Socket is a unique ‘plug and play’ product that allows users to easily mount, remove and relocate items that need power as well as data to function.

Complimenting the release of the Elite Socket is the launch of the Tallon iPad Mount.

A partnership between Tallon Systems and US Company - RAM Mount, enables any model of the widely popular iPad or iPhone to be easily attached to the Tallon Elite Socket, while also providing power to the device using the USB port charger and the ability to communicate with other electronic devices on board such as computers, stereo’s and DVD players.

When the Tallon is not in use for electronics, customers have the option to mount a vast range of RAM Mount or Tallon accessories in its place, or simply close it up to leave a clean, flush and stylish finish.

Tallon Systems General Manager, Duncan Good says interest in the new Elite Socket and iPad Mount was immense at the recent product pre-release at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, where iPad applications such as the Navionics App are proving very popular with boaties.

'We have now developed a one stop shop for every marine connection you need, for mounting, powering and providing data to a vast array of accessories. This Tallon Elite Socket is the perfect partner for the iPad mount, The beauty is, this mount will work just as well in your boat, vehicle or home,' says Duncan.

'The advent of sophisticated mapping applications like Navionics App for iPad means that people are taking their devices wherever they go, including out on the boat.'

The Elite Socket will retail for $69.95 and the iPad mount will retail for $109.95.

The Tallon Elite Socket and Tallon iPad Mount and a full range of Tallon accessories will be on display at the Sydney Boat Show, Stand 223.
