Nova Scotia sailors to represent Canada in Korea

Nova Scotia sailors Matt Stokes and Mike Evans have been selected by the Canadian Yachting Association to represent Canada at the Korea Cup International Yacht Race in Pohang, Korea.
Matt Stokes of the Bras d’Or Yacht Club in Baddeck and Mike Evans of the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron in Halifax will be travelling to Korea to compete in this international regatta from May 31st to June 6th. The regatta is a series of inshore and offshore races and will feature yachts and sailors from a variety of countries including Korea, Russia and the United States.
The regatta starts on May 31st with a series of inshore races in Pohang. The event then continues with a series of offshore races from Pohang on the Korean Peninsula to the islands of Ulleungdo and Dokdo in the East Sea, and back to Pohang. Matt and Mike will be teamed with a crew of Korean sailors for the event, and are looking forward to what promises to be a difficult and competitive international regatta.
