Nautor’s Swan wins Best Production Sailing Yacht Award

Having successfully fought off serious global competition this week, Nautor’s Swan has won the ‘Asia Boating Award 2011 for Best Production Sailing Yacht’.

The region’s most respected event of its kind which annually receives entries from the world’s leading yacht manufacturers happens is the Asia Boating Awards . Nautor’s Swan attracted the attention of the boating awards, now in its seventh year, with a nomination of the Swan 80 into the highly competitive ‘Best Production Sailing Yacht 51 feet and up’ category.

The Swan 80 was pitted against high profile yacht manufacturers from the USA, UK and Turkey including; Friendship Yacht Company, Oyster and Alia Yachts. After a strict judging process by some of the most esteemed Asian and international marine industry experts, Nautor’s Swan went on to win the overall trophy for this category in an awards ceremony hosted in Hong Kong.

This is a very valuable design recognition for the Swan 80 model which brings a new level of look and performance to the Swan Line. An up to date expression of the fast Maxi-cruiser concept, the design uses forty years of accumulated knowledge with a fresh approach.

The outcome is that of a performance orientated, easily handled yacht that is also in keeping with traditional luxury and elegance of Nautor’s Swan so ideal for comfortable long range cruising.

The latest Asia Boating Award demonstrates a global reach of the Nautor’s Swan brand encompassing both racing and cruising yacht markets with a strong influence in the Asian region.
