Product of the Week- the Fender Hanger

by Martin Flory/Sail-World Cruising on 22 Mar 2011
The Fender Hanger - sleek and convenient SW
Depending on the construction of your boat, these Fender Hangers from Accon Marine could provide relief from that panicked effort of tying and sometimes having to retie fenders when approaching a dock. There will always be the time when you want to attach a fender somewhere these hangers are NOT, but they are stylish as well as convenient and could help make docking or rafting-up easier.

Accon Marine's 401-R Fender Hangers will accomplish the task for you without repetitive tying and untying. They are constructed from marine-grade 316 stainless steel and have a very low profile and sleek appearance.

Users conveniently attach the fender to a loop on the hanger which snaps into a fixed base. The unique quick release feature enables the loop to remain connected to the fender line when separated, eliminating the need to fasten and unfasten the fenders. They're available with 1.27 cm or 2.54 cm loops to fit most fender lines.

Incredibly easy to install, these fender hangers do not require any cut-outs. They simply mount on the vessel's surface with two #10 screws.

If your local marine dealer does not stock them yet, you can obtain further information by going to the www.acconmarine.com!Accon_Marine_website, or find the dealer closest to you in the list below:
