Fusion leads with world's first iPod Dock Marine Entertainment System

by Kevin Poulter on 15 Feb 2011
The MS-iP600 stores the iPod or iPhone securely behind the fold-down facia FUSION Electronics
Fusion's MS-iP600 is much more than an AM/FM Entertainment unit - this Fusion houses an iPod or iPhone internally, safe from the elements, then takes over control of the Apple unit.

With an intelligent user memory, Fusion's latest Alpha Search Technology and extended Apple iPod support with fully integrated iPod user interface, you'll enjoy unlimited music.

The Fusion 600 series is the next step in the evolution of marine entertainment technology, featuring the World’s first internal iPod docking technology. Your iPod sits firmly inside the Stereo, completely protected from the harsh marine elements and pounding seas.

Be amazed at the simplicity of the Fusion controls for AM/FM, plus the single Encoder Knob that replicates the iPod menus.

Another revolution is Fusion's mastering of class D audio amplification. Class D is known for more than eighty percent efficiency, with cool-running. You won’t find a fan in the Fusion MS-iP600! All the cooling needed is provided through the 100% aluminum chassis. With a massive 280 watts max. or 45 watts RMS per channel into 2 ohms, you'll always hear your Fusion loud and clear above the motor and wave noise. Still does not rock you? Auxiliary amplifiers are offered too.

Features abound, like three Zones, where the volume and tone can be controlled independently. In fact add a remote control to a number of areas for even more control - great for larger Boats, like Motor Yachts. For a dynamic sound for Classics to Rock, there's a subwoofer line output in every unit.

Using an iPod is so easy, however if your music is still on CDs, the MS-CD600 or MS-AV600 (DVD) are the models to choose. Both have an iPod socket for the optional iPod lead, or choose the iPod Dock, which results in a huge choice of music media with the MS-AV600 - DVD, CD, plus iPod! There's more - the FUSION MS-AV600 will replay video DVDs through a Fusion television screen. The 600 series are also Sirius Satellite-Ready.

Fusion's 600-series True Marine 360-degree waterproof design complies with IPx5 standards, with full behind-console waterproof protection included. Superior electronics are also able to withstand pounding seas.

Fusion's Marine Entertainment Systems will deliver top sound and vision for many years to come, supported by their industry-leading limited five-year warranty - three years warranty and an extension of two years, where service is at a set price.

Fusion - the market-leading Entertainment for trailer boats, to Motor Yachts.
