Miami OCR, SB3 Worlds and Happy Birthday Dee - all the sailing news

Welcome to this week's edition of our Sail-World.com UK Newsletter.

Skandia Team GBR are competing at the Miami OCR, with Giles Scott leading the Finn Class ahead of Ben Ainslie.

The Illusions were out in force at Bembridge and we have news from the Royal Lymington Yacht Club. And Happy Birthday Dee Caffari who celebrated onboard GAES Centros Auditivos, in the Barcelona World Race.

And we have the latest from Chris-Stanmore Major who has just finished leg 2 of the Velux 5 Oceans.

In International news at Audi Victoria Week, Australian Nathan Outteridge the 49er and Moth World Champion has been sailing the SB3 series with David Cheyne (the SB3 World Class President ) from Ireland and fellow Aussie Ian Brown, the 1976 Olympic 470 Bronze medallist. The trio are having a perfect preparation for a crack at the Torbay SB3 Worlds - winning six races in a row at Audi Victoria Week.
