The Bass Strait Rally, is asking you to join the elite band of Offshore Challengers as we again experience the ultimate city-to-city power boating event
Day 1 — Commencing on the waterfront at Hobart’s Wrest Point Casino, the event fleet heads south along the beautiful D’Entrecasteaux Channel before taking crews to Port Arthur for the first night’s stopover.
Over the next 10 days you will navigate some of Australia’s most spectacular waterways.
Overnight stop-overs are all at safe harbours along the Tasmanian and Victorian coast.
Island hop across Bass Strait via Cape Barren Is, Flinders Is, Deal Is. and the Hogan Group to the national parks and waterways at Wilson’s Promontory — on the southern tip of the Australian mainland.
Refuelling and on-shore catering will be available at all overnight stop-overs specially arranged as part of the event logistics.
There will be plenty of time for recreational activities— diving, fishing or just soaking up the lifestyle at a variety of resort and wilderness locations each day.
The competitive side of the event includes daily stages of average speed sections coupled with coastal navigation designed to test and challenge both boats and crews.
Be part of the spectacular Port Phillip dash on the last day, Saturday March 5th, when the entire fleet crosses the Bay from Geelong to St. Kilda for the grand finale.
Nowhere else in the powerboating world can you experience so much excitement, challenge, adventure and fun in a single event.
