Prada and OneWorld survived early scares to win their matches and jump to series leads on Tuesday.
Prada used some nifty tactics to pass Orm near the first windward mark in Race One, and slowly extended and protected the rest of the way.
After trailing by nearly one-minute halfway through its match, OneWorld took advantage of a big shift on the second run to pass Stars & Stripes and went on to earn a great come from behind win.
The European match-up will be the first pair to start on Wednesday, with the all-American OneWorld and Stars & Stripes pairing to follow ten-minutes later.
