Yachting NSW and Nautilus Marine launch new Yachties Insurance Program Bob Carter
Yachting NSW (YNSW) and Nautilus Marine have combined forces to provide a quality yacht insurance policy that benefits sailing clubs and individual members throughout NSW.

Appropriately launched at the Sail Sydney regatta, the co-branded insurance program has been designed to deliver benefits all round. Not only is the Nautilus Marine backed YNSW insurance policy specifically written to provide unique and comprehensive benefits to yacht owners, but there are flow on benefits to the broader sailing fraternity.

'This is a landmark insurance product that delivers meaningful benefits to both YNSW member clubs and Nautilus Marine,' said David Edwards, Senior VP of YNSW.

'The YNSW branded insurance product will give our members the best opportunity to access market leading insurance, through the negotiated rate and coverage agreed between YNSW and Nautilus Marine. With every premium, there are funds which flow into YNSW, which will be shared equally with the policy holders’ club.'

'This is a fabulous new initiative where there are winners all round. YNSW is determined to be proactive in providing tangible benefits to its member clubs, and this is a significant step in this direction. We are proud to be partnering with Nautilus who share this vision with us. This product will direct vital funds to participating sailing clubs who in turn will be able to purchase equipment, run more sailing programs and generally have more funds at their disposal.'

Under the new YNSW yacht insurance scheme, participating members who sign up to have their yacht insured with YNSW - Nautilus Marine, will have part of the premium paid back to YNSW. YNSW will then on forward a share of this to the sailing club, as nominated by the policy holder.

YNSW has approximately 125 clubs with over 20,000 individual members within its umbrella organisation.

Lyndon Turner, CEO of Nautilus Marine, regards the new commercial arrangement with YNSW as yet another innovative initiative for Nautilus Marine.

'We’re very happy to support YNSW and its members. Collectively we are working to ensure all members are covered by this scheme. ' Lyndon Turner said.

'YNSW put the concept to the insurance market and then selected Nautilus Marine as being the ideal partner to work with on this project. Yachties throughout NSW can look forward to seeing strong support coming from Nautilus Marine.'

As a new supporter of YNSW, the Nautilus Marine brand will also be seen in various YNSW publications and at various YNSW sailing events.

With over 125 years of marine insurance expertise between the senior Nautilus Marine executives, Nautilus Marine is absolutely committed to providing high levels of customer service, backed by local knowledge.

Nautilus Marine Insurance Agency (ABN 34 100 633 038 AFSL 227186) is a wholly Australian owned insurance agency that provides insurance programs for boat owners and for the marine industry. Nautilus Marine has offices across Australia.
