Louis Vuitton Quarter finals weather gods smile today

The first match will see GBR Challenge against Team Dennis Conner. While both teams had second boats in their arsenals, only the Americans decided to make a change, with the Stars & Stripes crew sailing the reborn USA-77, rebuilt after sinking off the California coast just four months ago.

The second pairing on the Romeo course features the top-ranked Alinghi against the Louis Vuitton Cup holding Prada Challenge.

On Juliet course, the Swedish Victory Challenge sails against the French Le Défi and its new afterguard, led by skipper Philippe Presti.

Also on Juliet, Oracle BMW Racing looks to continue its blistering pace under unbeaten skipper Chris Dickson (7-0) against OneWorld, which has pulled out its alternate boat, USA-65 for the first time.
