RYA - New RYA Sailability app

Whether you want to find out how to go sailing in your area or want details on how to become an RYA Sailability volunteer, it is now even easier to keep up to date with all the latest news and information with the new free RYA Sailability App for the iPhone.

'We are very excited about introducing our new RYA Sailability App. It is another fantastic way for people to find out everything they need to know about Sailability' explains RYA Sailability Manager Debbie Blachford.

Compatible with iPhone and iPod touch the App includes:

· Home Page: A short introduction and 2 videos showing what RYA Sailability can offer sailors and volunteers.
· Centres: Organised by region or through a mapping system there are a list of all the RYA Sailability affiliated centres in the world. These include contact details, information and facilities.
· Events: View a list of the upcoming events including contact and location details.
· Contacts: A list of regional contacts, if you require help or further information on RYA Sailability in a given region, these people will be happy to help.
· News: The latest news from ryasailability.tv, keeping you up to date with the latest goings on.

Debbie continues 'Not only will people be able to look up where they can go sailing in their region but they can find out exactly what the club has to offer and the disabilities that they cater for and it’s all totally free.'

RYA Sailability encourages and supports people with disabilities to take up sailing and boating activities and integrates them into the boating community. So far over 20,000 people with a disability have been able to experience sailing and now sail regularly.
