Back in 2019 and early 2020, together with the RYA, I was part of a hugely successful set of webinars which highlighted how sailing clubs were growing their membership and increasing participation in activities. The great news is that they're back!
Join us on Monday 3rd February at 7pm for the RYA Connected Webinar, 'Growing membership' as we pick up where we left off, giving you plenty of case studies of clubs who are getting it right, and ideas as to how you can move your club forward.
This webinar takes a look at three clubs, and we hear from Tim Burnett, Membership Secretary at Yeadon Sailing Club in the Northeast, Sarah Carswell, Commodore of Northampton Sailing Club in the Midlands, and Jane Long, Vice President of Colne Yacht Club in the East. This is your chance to hear first-hand what they're doing to make a difference.
Gareth Brookes, Head of Regions at the RYA is Co-hosting the webinar with me and has put this together, so many thanks indeed for his time and energy reviving this important initiative.
