The long awaited much talked about new DAC 2010'B' hull has arrived via a Boeing 747 air freighter to Shenzhen and into the racing paddock of the Qatar Team. The UIM F1 H2O World Championship points leader Jay Price has taken to the controls of the newest boat to leave the Como, Italy workshops from retired ten-time World Champion Guido Cappellini.

'We have actually tested the boat in Italy two weeks ago for a few days and got a good feel from it right away,' said the driver from New Orleans, Louisiana. 'Now on this short race circuit here in Shenzhen, it will be interesting to see how it handles since it is very short and wide as well. I'm looking forward to the running it tomorrow in actual race conditions.'

It was very much of a secret for most of fall campaign with most people thinking that much of the Qatar Team returned to Doha or the United States three weeks ago following the Linyi event. However, key crew members teamed up with Cappellini and his designers and crew people in Northern Italy for some serious testings and now the boat is ready to challenge the successful Baba, Dragon, Blaze, Moore and Burgess hulls as well on the shortest race circuit on the tour tomorrow.

Sunday will feature a full day of activity with practice beginning at 09:00 local (01:00 GMT), qualifying 11:45-12:45 (03:45-04:35 GMT) and the Grand Prix at 16:00 local (08:00 GMT) for the 16th Grand Prix of China and the fifth Round of the UIM F1 H2O World Championship for powerboating.
