Renowned Melbourne marine dealership Jacksons Marine based in Sandringham has joined the network of Clipper Motor Yachts agents in Australia.

Stuart and Robert Jackson and their team will represent the Clipper brand throughout Victoria.

'We are delighted to be a part of the Clipper family,' said Stuart Jackson. 'I have great respect for the Clipper brand and know the company's head of distribution in Australia, Brett Thurley, well. I am certain the range will be a great success in Victoria.

'The Clippers are beautifully built motor yachts and represent great value for families who want to cruise Port Phillip Bay or the Gippsland Lakes in style or plan on an extended voyage.'

Mr Jackson said his organisation would also support Clipper in the Gippsland Lakes area through sub-dealer Webster Marine.

Jacksons Marine has worked in the Victorian boating industry for more than 60 years and has built an enviable reputation for service.

'We are pleased to welcome the Jacksons team,' said Brett Thurley, Managing Director of Clipper Yachts Australia. 'They will do a superb job of supporting our current owners in Victoria and are certain to bring many happy new owners into the Clipper fraternity.'

Mr Thurley said the company now has a strong base along the entire east coast of Australia.

'Our head office services Queensland, we have John Radonic and his team at Boat Sales Tasmania in Hobart and Matt Willett is already establishing support for the brand in New South Wales.'

Clipper Motor Yachts builds six models of classic trawler-style luxury cruisers across two lines – Heritage displacement motor yachts and Cordova semi-displacement cruisers.

The company will have three boats on display at the Sydney International Boat Show at the end of July this year; the Cordova 52 and 60 semi-displacement models and a new Heritage 36.

Jacksons Marine is based at the Sandringham Yacht Club. Contact them on (03) 9598 7777 or visit www.jacksonsmarine.com.au
