Clipper Yachts Australia has announced a new support program for Clipper owners.

Clipper C Safe offers owners the security of on-water assistance if they run into trouble while out boating.

Brett Thurley, Managing Director of Clipper Yachts Australia, said the service would be provided by the renowned Sea Tow organisation, offering 24-hour on-water services including towing, emergency fuel, engine battery jump start and replacement, diving to untangle propellers and soft ungrounding.

Sea Tow also provides over-the-phone trouble-shooting and nautical advice.

“Our owners expect quality service and we are proud to have developed a support organisation covering the east coast of Australia, said Mr Thurley. “C Safe is another example of our commitment to our owners.

“Sea Tow has a great reputation for the speed and quality of its service. They are like a road service organisation on the water.”

Cluny Cummings of Sea Tow explained: “An operator will aim to get the vessel moving again under its own steam and allow the customer to continue to enjoy their journey.

“If the problem cannot safely be resolved, we tow the boat safely to its home port or nearest place of repair.”

C Safe is a free service for owners of all Clipper motor yachts sold through the company’s Australian sales network.

“All new Clippers are covered free for three years and used Clippers will be covered by C Safe for one year,” said Mr Thurley.

Sea Tow provides the C Safe service in Sydney, Broken Bay, Botany Bay, on Queensland’s Gold and Sunshine Coasts.

In areas not covered for on-water services, Sea Tow will locate and liaise with local services and authorities. However, the cost of towing or associated services is not covered by Clipper C Safe.
