The epitome of boating style arrives- Princess 78 Motor Yacht

by Creating Demand on 20 May 2010
Princess 78 Motor Yacht. Princess Yachts .
Alan Paterson and the team from Princess Yachts Australia are proud to announce the arrival and Australian debut of the Princess 78 Motor Yacht at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

An elegant, contemporary profile and characteristic deep-V hull combine in the new 78 Motor Yacht with the highest standards of construction, integrated design solutions and class-leading dynamic ability. Sleek lines and a highly resolved underwater section ensure she embodies the very latest in Princess design and technology, delivering thoroughbred performance and an assured, stable ride for effortlessly fast and efficient cruising.

Around 70% of all the GRP structures are moulded using an innovative development of resin infusion, enabling an engineered weight reduction to achieve lower fuel consumption and increased cruising range. Raised bulwarks and deep side decks bestow the feeling of a true Motor Yacht, which is complemented by the clever integration of accommodation spaces to minimise any change in deck heights.

A hydraulic raising and lowering swim platform is incorporated as standard while a high capacity crane is fitted to the flybridge for secure and convenient stowage of the main tender.

The flybridge itself is expansive and incorporates a single deck level, with this model featuring a hot tub plus a large wetbar with relaxed seating area and sun-bed arrangement. The main deck accommodates a broad and sumptuous saloon area utilising the 78 Motor Yacht’s generous beam.

The galley is situated to the port side and is equipped with the latest high quality appliances. A side deck door allows crew access without moving through the entertaining spaces while a bulkhead can be opened or closed as preferred, providing greater privacy for the large main dining area.

A comfortable dinette is located adjacent to the main helm as an informal breakfast area or for occasional seating when underway, whilst the helm itself has been designed for optimum visibility with clear sightlines and an intuitive control layout incorporating the latest navigational electronics.

The voluminous lower accommodation features four immaculately presented cabins all with en-suite facilities. A spacious full-beam master stateroom amidships includes a private breakfast area, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with a large separate stall shower or a combination of bath and shower outboard.

There are three guest suites which can be configured with two doubles and one twin or with a second twin cabin with convenient sliding berth system for added flexibility. All offer ample storage and feature the finest natural materials and luxurious fittings throughout to ensure guests enjoy an uncompromising level of comfort whilst on board. Additional accommodation for occasional guests or a full-time crew is situated aft of the machinery space with separate access from the transom or the starboard side deck. These quarters feature an en-suite twin cabin and can be specified with a large lazarette area, a crew mess or a second crew cabin.

Fortune favours the Beneteaus!
Thank you, Huey… Some sun, and a tad of wind means it is time to go racing... Ahead of the annual Beneteau Pittwater Regatta by Flagstaff Marine the weather had not been all that grand. So, peaks of sun migrating to distinct patches, and the occasional zephyr turning into a waft, then on to a calm breeze was fortunate.
