Mt Gay fleet approaches Breaksea Spit in Mooloolaba to Airlie Beach race

At dawn this morning the Mt Gay Mooloolaba to Airlie race fleet is passing Indian Head under spinnaker.
At sked time, the Sandy Cape automatic data report was showing 16 knots from the southwest.
The Sydney 60 Eureka is now six miles south of Sandy Cape approaching Breaksea Spit, John Woodruffs The Dreamtime is 5 miles back, and two miles further back is the yellow spinnaker of Aspect Computing.
Abeam Waddy Point is the Beneteau 47.7 Antipodes Australia skippered by Phil Daniels. She is leading the IRC division from Warwick Sherman’s Cookson 12 Occasional Course Language.
Another Lyons design, Allan Saunders Excalibur is abeam Indian Head.
In PHS handicap division, Sunshine Coast Roofing High Anxiety leads Shala V with the Dreamtime 3rd.
