ICSA Friis Trophy held at Tufts - final results

Saturday: It was a puffy day on Mystic Lake with breeze ranging from 5-20 knots from WSWt. Racing began at 10:30 AM and two round robins were completed. Four protests were heard resulting in 3 disqualifications.

Day One Results:
1. Tufts 11-1
2. Roger Williams 9-3
3. Yale 8-4
4. Navy 5-7
5. Boston University 4-8
6. Connecticut College 3-9
7. Salve Regina 2-12.

Tufts, Roger Williams, Yale and Navy will return to Tufts tomorrow to compete against BC, St. Marys, Brown and MIT in the gold cup. BU, Conn and Salve will join Harvard, Vermont and Dartmouth at MIT tomorrow for the silver cup.

Sunday: It was a warmer day on the lake today with breeze beginning WSW at 5-10 and shifting NW, building to 5-25. Two additional protests were heard resulting in one DSQ. Thank you to alums Francine Magasinn '09 and Robby Moore '09 for running finish boat as well as many Jumbo sailors for helping with scoring, breakdowns etc.
